We had an ice storm just in time for rush hour today. Needless to say, I did not go to work. The suet feeder has been taking a beating all day, at one point there were 5 birds on it and the bushes all around were covered with birds waiting their turn. There is one really neat woodpecker that visits alot and lots of finches, wrens, and chickadees. Also some mockingbirds. A piliated woodpecker comes often, and now there is a bird I
don't recognize, it has a crest like a jay, but it is smaller and grey, with tan under its wings. I like them all but the grackels; I always chase them off.

This is part of Cheyanne's mane caught in the fence and coated with ice.
